This patch adds rumble support to the Xbox One, Series X|S, and Elite Series 2 pads.
Earlier today Phoronix had noticed a new patch being submitted for the Microsoft HID Linux driver. The patch was created by Google engineer Siarhei Vishniakou, who is “in communication” with engineers from Microsoft. Last year, a firmware update had apparently broke the rumble compatibility with Xbox One controllers. This patch fixes the problem, and also works with the newer Series X|S controllers. It might even work with the Elite pad.

One such video is how to stream your Xbox to your Deck. The video has step-by-step instructions on how to get it set up. The process requires getting the AppImage of Xbox Xcloud client, marking it as executable, then adding it as a non-Steam game.
