Mastodon Account Now Live

So, those of you who may have been turned off by the fact that I initially went with Twitter can now rejoice, since I’ll primarily be using Mastodon as a means of social media for LGC. Twitter will be a backup in the event I need to get a hold of someone that otherwise isn’t available on Mastodon.
Not going to get into the whole Musk buying Twitter thing, but that was part of the reason for the move.
More LGC Updates (Logo on top, updated analytics, updated RSS feed, new games recommended)
Got quite a few new things going on at LGC, so let’s get started.
Logo Added to the Top I got the logo added to the top of the page. Doesn’t look great on the left, I know, but I’m hoping to get it centered once I figure it out. Still better than just text I would argue.
Updated Plausible Analytics I have updated the Plausible Analytics to bypass ad-blockers. The Brave web browser still blocks the analytics, to my testing and to my knowledge.
Plausible Analytics Added

In an effort to be as transparent with the community as possible, I wanted to inform you all that earlier today I had incorporated Plausible Analytics. This is an open-source alternative to Google Analytics that respects both your privacy and mine.
The purpose for the analytics is twofold:
I can see what articles get the most clicks and therefore allows me to determine what type of articles I should prioritize. It also allows me to see from what source the most traffic is coming from (which, at the moment, is Reddit) and use that platform to advertise my articles.
Logo and Matrix Room Added

Here’s the logo, courtesy of a Fiverr artist by the name of bykai2: Eventually I’ll figure out how to put it directly on the top of the page…yeah, I’m a bit rusty when it comes to web development, but at least you can see the updated favicon, rather than the ordinary, square red icon on your tab from before. It’s also there on my Twitter account and the Matrix room.
Articles to Bookmark/Wiki Added
I’ve added a link in the navigation bar to access LGC’s “timeless” articles. Guides, game reviews, interviews with developers, and whatever else I may cover. As LGC constantly provides new articles every day, these older articles can be difficult to find. So, I made this page to make finding these articles easier.
So far I’ve got the Slippi guide, tips for playing GRID Legends on NVIDIA graphics cards, how to use the Steam Deck UI, the Project Heartbeat review, and a few developer interviews.
Newsletter Added

I’ve added a newsletter service for those of you who wish to get their LGC news delivered to their inbox. The newsletter is hand-curated, powered by TinyLetter, and will be sent every night around 10-11 PM EST. The newsletter will contain the posts that were made on that day. If I can figure it out I will try to make the newsletter feed automated and sent at the exact time every night.
Twitter Page Now Live

Yup, the Twitter account for LGC is now live. Give me a follow if you want to get your news feed from there, outside of the website itself and outside of the RSS feed. There I will also be posting teasers of my future articles. For instance, I’ve teased my Project Heartbeat review by showcasing the game on my GPD Win 3:
@PHeartbeatGame Project Heartbeat looking good on the GPD Win 3!
To-Do List Added to GitHub
As the title of the post mentions, I have now added a to-do list for LGC on the GitHub’s README file, including new features to add to the site, bug fixes, and future planned articles. This is so you can get an idea of content to look forward to, and it also serves as a reminder for me what I need to work on. Note that some articles have lower priority than others and may not be worked on.
